INVISALIGN
TRUST WORLD'S MOST ADVANCED CLEAR ALIGNER SYSTEM
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses cutting-edge technology to create a series of virtually invisible clear aligners that are custom-made especially for you. The aligners are changed every 1-2 weeks gradually moving your teeth towards their final position.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign is a series of (usually 14) clear tailor-made aligners designed to move your teeth gently, little by little into their final position.
Each aligner is worn for 1-2 weeks, and each is a small step towards your perfect smile.
Key benefits of Invisalign
The most advanced clear aligner system in the world:
Effective - Invisalign is made of an innovative SmartTrack material that is proven to provide much better control over the amount and timing of tooth movement. As a result, Invisalign moves your teeth with greater precision and predictability.
Discreet - Invisalign aligners are made of clear, transparent material and are custom made to fit neatly over your teeth. This makes them virtually invisible. Hardly anyone will notice that you're wearing Invisalign. Life goes on as normal while your aligners discreetly do their job.
Fast - Invisalign can align your teeth in as little as 3 months*, just in time for your special event. You will also need fewer office visits as you will see your doctor every 6-8 weeks.
Comfortable - Invisalign aligners are tailor-made from a highly elastic patented SmartTrack material for a perfect, snug fit over your teeth and greater comfort.
Durability - the patented SmartTrack material is very durable, elastic and less prone to breakups.
Practical - Invisalign aligners fit in with your lifestyle as they can be removed when needed. Take them out for eating and drinking and enjoy your favourite food with no restrictions. Remove them for brushing and flossing to maintain good oral hygiene.
View your journey to a perfect smile before it even begins.
Invisalign advanced 3D imaging software will visualise your entire Invisalign journey. You will be able to see what your smile will look like at the end before you even start your treatment.

INVISALIGN FAQ's
How long does the Invisalign treatment take?
The Invisalign treatment usually takes between 3-6 months; however, the final treatment time will depend on the complexity of your case and will be determined by your doctor.
Is the Invisalign treatment painful?
Most patients do not experience any pain. You may feel a little discomfort or a feeling of pressure when you switch to a new aligner, and it will go away within a couple of days.
Once the Invisalign treatment is complete, do I need to wear a retainer?
Yes, same as with any other orthodontic treatment, retainers are necessary to prevent a relapse. Your retainers are included in the price of the treatment.
Are there certain foods or drinks that I should avoid during the treatment? No, you can enjoy any food and drinks you want because you remove your Invisalign aligners for eating and drinking.
How can I clean my Invisalign aligners?
The best way to clean your aligners is by brushing them (do not use any toothpaste) and then rinsing them with lukewarm water. Do not put your aligners into the hot or boiling water as it may distort them. You may use Invisalign Cleaning Crystals or special cleaning tablets such as Steradent. Brush your teeth after eating or drinking before you insert your aligner back.
How often should I wear my Invisalign aligners?
You should wear them for the recommended 20-22 hours a day and remove them only for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. Not following this recommendation may result in your treatment taking longer than planned.
Will the Invisalign aligners affect my speech?
As with all orthodontic appliances you may go through the adjustment period when there might be some slight impairment to your speech. However, it doesn't last long, and the majority of patients do not report any speech problems at all.
Can I smoke while wearing the aligners?
It is not recommended to smoke while wearing the Invisalign aligners as it may stain or discolour them.
Can I chew gum when wearing the aligners?
It is not recommended to chew gum while wearing the aligners. The aligners should be removed for eating and drinking.
